Welcome to the visual tour of Holidays-Normandy. Whether you’re travelling with children, grandparents, or friends, we want you to feel completely at home. Each space has been designed with comfort, accessibility, and countryside charm in mind – and here’s your sneak peek.
Designed for ease and comfort, this downstairs wetroom features a powerful raindrop shower and a removable handheld shower head. A seat in the shower and grab rails ensure security and support. There's ample turning space for wheelchair users and a modern layout that makes this room practical and stylish. Please note: there is no raised toilet seat. Natural light from the window (with blind) and good overhead lighting, with a sleek modern finish make it a relaxing space for guests of all needs.
This cosy, easy-access bedroom features a double bed with extra storage underneath – perfect for longer stays or guests bringing mobility aids. The room includes bedside tables with lamps and convenient hanging space. While there's a window for natural light, it's not oversized, keeping the room restful and private. With level access to both the living space and the wetroom, it’s an ideal option for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.
This full-size family bathroom features a bath with shower-over, washbasin, and heated towel rail. It’s the perfect place for kids to splash or for a relaxing soak after a countryside walk. There is no Velux window, but the room is well-lit and cleanly tiled for a practical yet modern finish. It serves both the first floor and mezzanine bedroom with ease and convenience.
This quiet and restful double bedroom is ideal for guests who prefer to avoid bright morning light. There is no window – instead, interior glass bricks and ample lighting keep the space bright and welcoming. A double bed with storage underneath, bedside tables with lights, and a work desk with lamp offer everything needed for comfort or remote working. Perfect for teens, parents, or professionals catching up on emails during their stay.
This spacious family bedroom sleeps up to four, with two single beds and one double bed (which includes hidden storage underneath). Two Velux windows flood the space with natural light – or stay shaded thanks to full blackout blinds. There are bedside lights and a shared table for essentials. This open-plan loft-style space overlooks the lounge below and is ideal for older children or teens who love a nest of their own.
Our extendable dining table comfortably seats 6–10 guests and sits at the heart of the open-plan living area. Perfect for group dinners, birthday breakfasts, or a Normandy cider tasting, the area is functional and bright. Guests love the pin maps where they can mark where they’ve travelled from – a fun tradition for families and friends. With easy access to the kitchen and lounge, it's the sociable centre of your stay.
The lounge area sits beneath the soaring two-storey-high ceiling of the original barn, flooded with natural light from above. A big comfy sofa invites you to curl up and relax after a day exploring. There’s a large smart TV with satellite and Netflix access, plus some games for relaxed evenings in. This space connects naturally with both the dining area and kitchen, making it ideal for family gatherings and holiday downtime.
The kitchen boasts a hob, an air fryer, a multi-function toaster oven, a microwave oven with grill option, a raclette, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee percolator, a coffee pod machine, even an ice machine for those hot summer days! (plus more!)
Guests can enjoy picnic tables by the splash pool, a couple of sun loungers for summer lounging, and a private BBQ in the garden. This space is ideal for al fresco meals, peaceful mornings, or watching the occasional llama wander past from the neighbouring paddock. Whether you're sipping cider at sunset or enjoying a morning coffee in peace, it's a relaxing spot for all ages.
Get a sense of the flow and layout before you arrive. The gîte’s open-plan barn conversion layout means light floods through the centre of the home. From high beamed ceilings to thoughtful details like bedside lamps, pin maps, and cosy textures, it’s been designed to welcome. Whether it’s your first family holiday in Normandy or a group reunion, you’ll find warmth and comfort in every corner.
