Nightly rates for up to 6 guests range from €100–€225 depending on season and minimum stay. Additional guests (up to 10) are €25 per person per night.

Plan your family-friendly gîte holiday in Normandy with clear, transparent pricing. Ursula Gîte sleeps 8–10 guests across two bedrooms and a mezzanine, plus a cot on request for 1 infant, in a peaceful location near Coutances. The gîte is well suited to families, mixed-age groups, and guests travelling with dogs. Enjoy day trips to the D-Day beaches, coastal walks in Normandy, and meet our friendly llamas 🦙. A private splash pool is available in season.

Good to Know

• Minimum stay: 2 nights (longer during peak season).
• Check-in: from 16:00 · Check-out: by 10:00. Luggage drop-off before 16:00 on request.
• Quiet hours: from midnight (enjoy the peaceful countryside 🌙).

Payments & Deposit

• 10% deposit due at the time of booking, with the remaining balance payable 30 days before arrival.
• Bookings cancelled 30 days or more before arrival receive a full refund of all prepaid amounts. Cancellations made after this point are non-refundable.
• A pre-authorisation of €300 is held 1 day before arrival and automatically released within 7 days after departure, subject to no damage.

What’s Included in the Price

Everything you need for a relaxing stay is included. No hidden extras.

• Bed linen and towels for all guests (cot linen provided free of charge on request).
• A properly equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking, and a welcome basket with simple essentials to start your stay comfortably.
• Free toiletries in both bathrooms.

Surcharges & Local Costs

• Cleaning fee: €50 per stay.
• Dog fee: €20 per dog per stay. Maximum 2 dogs unless agreed in advance.
• Beach towels: €3 per guest per stay (optional).
• Winter heating surcharge: €30 per week (Nov–Feb).
• Tourist tax: payable on arrival as per local rules.

  Half a fresh French baguette filled with sliced ham, a generous layer of Normandy butter and Dijon mustard.
• 🧀 Camembert Baguette: €8.50 per serving.
  Half a fresh French baguette filled with creamy Normandy Camembert, a generous layer of Normandy butter and Dijon mustard.
• 🥖🧀 Jambon-Camembert Baguette: €9 per serving.
  Half a fresh French baguette filled with sliced ham, creamy Normandy Camembert, a generous layer of Normandy butter and Dijon mustard.
• 🥧 Homemade Quiche of the Day: €9.50 per serving.
  A generous slice of homemade quiche. Choose from the traditional or vegetarian quiche of the day.
• 🍰 Whole Homemade Cakes & Traditional Bakes: €15–20.
  Choose from 8 Homemade Eccles Cakes, a whole Lemon Drizzle Cake, whole Victoria Sandwich, whole Coffee & Walnut Cake, whole Carrot Cake, whole Sticky Toffee Cake or a whole Bakewell Tart. All are freshly baked to order and perfect for sharing.
• 🌳 Sam's Seasonal Bake – Fresh from the Orchard: €25.
  A whole homemade seasonal bake chosen by Sam using the best fruit available from our orchard. Depending on the harvest, it could be a cake, pie, crumble, traybake or another seasonal favourite.
• 🥐 French Breakfast Basket: €15 per serving.
  Guests regularly comment that servings are generous.
• 🥞 Homemade American Pancake Breakfast: €10 per person.
  Four fluffy homemade American-style pancakes served with Canadian maple syrup and seasonal fruit from our orchard (subject to availability).
• 🥣 Homemade Creamy Porridge Breakfast: €7.50 per person.
  Creamy homemade porridge made with premium Normandy whole milk. Choose from honey, brown sugar, cinnamon and seasonal fruit from our orchard (subject to availability).
• 🧺 French Picnic Basket: €20 per serving.
• 🎒 Homeward Bound Packed Lunch: €20 per person.
• 🧳 Departure Day Late Check-Out (12:00 instead of 10:00): €25 per stay.
• 🎄 Traditional English Christmas Dinner 🇬🇧 (25 December only):
  €65 per guest (maximum 6 guests).
  Please book at least 7 days in advance.

All meals, breakfasts, lunches, picnic baskets and other catering options must be requested no later than 4pm the day before.
