Plan your family-friendly gîte stay in Normandy with clear, transparent pricing. Ursula Gîte sleeps 8–10 guests across two bedrooms and a mezzanine, plus a cot available on request for 1 infant, set in peaceful countryside near Coutances. Enjoy day trips to the D‑Day beaches, Normandy coastal walks, and meet our friendly resident llamas 🦙. Guests can also enjoy our seasonal private splash pool.
Good to know
- Minimum stay: 3 nights (longer in peak).
- Arrival: from 16h00 (4pm) · Departure: by 10h00 (10am). We can store luggage prior to 4pm check‑in if requested.
- Quiet hours: midnight onwards (countryside calm 🌙).
Payments & deposit
- 50% deposit at booking; balance due 30 days before arrival.
- €300 security deposit pre‑authorised (or per channel rules) and released within 7 days after departure, subject to inspection.
- All paid prepayments are non‑refundable. We recommend travel insurance.
What’s included in the price
We keep it simple: everything you need for a relaxing stay is included. No surprise add‑ons.
- All bed linen and towels (including cot bedding if needed). Beach towels available as an optional extra.
- Free welcome pack with local treats, tea & coffee, local milk and butter, plus some eggs from our rescue hens ☕🍪🥚.
- Free toiletries in both bathrooms, including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, plus a couple of toilet rolls in each bathroom.
- Kitchen basics provided, including oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, dishwasher tablets, washing‑up liquid, sponge, and other essentials to get you started.
Fees & local charges
- Cleaning fee: €50 per stay.
- Dog fee: €5 per dog per night.
- Beach towels: €3 per guest per stay.
- Winter heating supplement: €30 per week.
- Tourist tax: payable as per local rules.
Optional extras you can add (book with Sam & Lee directly no later than 4pm the day before)

- 🍽️ Homecooked Guest Dinner €30 per adult · €20 per child.
