Highly recommend, we can’t wait to come back!
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we loved our weekend in this beautiful gite! The accommodation itself is so homely and characterful, with amazing facilities, hot showers and comfortable beds, and the kitchen has everything you could ever need! We would highly recommend the breakfast baskets that are full of delicious local goodies, including fresh baguettes and pastries. And then there’s the location! The countryside surrounding the gite is beautiful, with rolling hills and views for miles across the Normandy countryside, not to mention the llamas! We absolutely loved meeting them and were honoured when they let us feed them, they’re such lovely gentle creatures and we could have watched them for hours. The local town, Coutances, is a few km away and has plenty of shops and cafes, and the amazing cathedral is well worth a visit. The gite is the perfect base to explore all the attractions that Normandy has to offer. We’ll be recommending it to all our family and friends and can’t wait to come back!

Home away from home
Sam and Lee have created a wonderful "home away from home" in Nicorps. The gite is equipped with everything one can possibly imagine... and more. We had our privacy but at the same time Sam and Lee there whenever we had a question (hint: the guest manual is so extensive that you would get all the necessary info by just reading it). The highlight was, of course, the resident Llamas, which were super friendly and our kids got the chance of feeding them. You may also be lucky enough to have fresh eggs from Sam & Lee's rescue chickens. The gite is very well located: the town of Coutances is less than 10 min drive where we could find everything we needed - shops (including large supermarket chains), butcher, bakeries, pastry & chocolate shops etc. We also got to visit Mont Saint-Michel which is just an hour drive. Overall, it's the perfect place for someone wanting to unwind in a remote location without being too far away from interesting sights to visit and certainly without scarifying any comfort. Our rescue chickens were also very flattered — they’re tiny, but they love the spotlight almost as much as their long-necked neighbours. And we’re so glad the location worked for you: peaceful fields, easy access to Coutances, and plenty of Normandy adventures within reach. It was a genuine pleasure having you here. Excellent séjour
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte plein de charme, parfaitement situé pour découvrir la région et faire des balades sur les plages, visiter la maison de Christian Dior à Granville ou la cathédrale de Coutances. Niché juste à côté de Nicorps, le gîte est très propre, confortable et équipé de tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous étions très touchés par les petites attentions de la part des hôtes, bouquet de fleurs, panier avec des œufs, confiture, beurre et d'autres produits locaux. Sam et Lee sont très accueillants et nous ont fait découvrir les lamas qui vivent dans leur propriété. Ils nous ont également invités à un dîner chez eux, très chaleureux. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter et où nous serions ravis de revenir. Un grand merci à vous, Sam et Lee!

Un séjour parfait pour petits et grands
Nous avons eu le plaisir de passer un weekend dans le gîte fraîchement rénové. C'était incroyable du début à la fin ! L'accueil a été très chaleureux et bienveillant, nous nous sommes vraiment sentis comme à la maison. Sam nous avait préparé un délicieux et copieux repas le soir de notre arrivée : salade, pommes de terre gratinées, gâteau, petites quiches... Le tout fait maison, nous nous sommes régalés. Le lendemain nous avons pu profiter de la côte toute proche pour une promenade avec les enfants. Nous étions deux familles et avons apprécié pouvoir avoir chacun notre intimité tout en partageant des moments en commun dans un espace s'y prêtant parfaitement. Nous avons pu aussi découvrir de bonnes adresses à Nicorps, grâce aux conseils avisés de Sam qui avait même fait les réservations pour nous. Les enfants ont absolument adoré le contact avec les animaux (poules, lamas, canards...) sous la surveillance de Sam et Lee qui ont su les mettre à l'aise. Le petit déjeuner était très copieux et les petites attentions de nos hôtes ont ravi petits et grands. Encore merci pour votre accueil et longue vie à Holiday Normandy 🎉❤️

We hadden een heerlijke tijd hier in Normandië. Het huis, de tuin, het dorpje in de buurt en natuurlijk de lama’s maken dit tot een plek waar je je meteen thuis voelt. De kinderen (13 en 16) waren helemaal geobsedeerd door de lama’s en bleven er zelfs thuis nog over praten. De schuur is prachtig verbouwd tot een loft-achtige gîte met genoeg ruimte voor iedereen. De kinderen hadden elk hun eigen kamer, en alles is met zorg en smaak ingericht. Bij aankomst waren de bedden al opgemaakt en lagen de handdoeken klaar. Sam en Lee hadden bovendien een welkomstpakket klaargezet met lokale producten, een heel attent gebaar. We voelden ons bij hen meteen op ons gemak. Tijdens ons verblijf regende het bijna elke dag, maar dat maakte het juist extra gezellig. Terwijl Nils hier op locatie werkte, was ik heerlijk aan het lezen en schrijven. De omgeving prikkelt al je creatieve zintuigen, waardoor je eigenlijk nog wat langer zou willen blijven. Wij kunnen deze plek van harte aanbevelen. ❤️

Très bon weekend ! Accueil très chaleureux et la maison est cosy et fonctionnel. Bien placé pour se balader à la mer, les commerces restent proches tout en profitant du calme de la campagne.

Incredible Hidden Gem in Perfect Location
We absolutely loved our stay here, the property was immaculate and so well stocked with absolutely everything you could ever need for a holiday. Its been renovated with traditional charm and you really do feel like you are discovering an authentic part of France rather than the over populated usual tourist spots. Incredibly easy reach of all the exciting places to see in this part of the world, we had a hire car and loved popping into the local town and further afield. Super markets are within 10 minutes, all the main tourist attractions are within 40 minutes so very easy to see and do everything Normandy has to offer. Our hosts were so lovely, just the right amount of help without feeling like you were staying on someone's property, we felt really well looked after the whole visit, no question was too much trouble. We will absolutely be back to visit this beautiful place.

Fabulous gite, wonderful location, great hosts
My partner and I stayed in this lovely gite in Nicorps. It was brilliant. The owners are really friendly and have done a great job setting the gite up with everything you could need and some lovely little touches that make it super special. The area is rural but not isolated with a fab pub nearby. Coutances is a few km away with a beautiful cathedral, restaurants and cafes and all local amenities. The Normandy coastline is steeped in history, with many great restaurants and easy to access. Highly recommended.

Fabulous holiday!
Beautiful accommodation in stunning countryside setting. A great base from which to explore Normandy or just relax and enjoy the French wildlife. I went last with my two teens who also loved it, but it would suit most groups. We can't cait to go back!

I was invited to stay here in advance of the official launch and found the place to be really tranquil. Set in the open countryside but pretty close to local towns and the Normandy beaches this site has everything. The hosts Sam and Lee could not have been more accommodating and made my stay an absolute delight. I will be going back :-)
